Andrea & Prashant

funkytown photography studios victoria b.c. photographers

We are so excited to photograph Prashant and Andrea's wedding on Friday and Saturday. They are having a Hindu and a western ceremony and we know it is going to be super fun. We had a very relaxed engagement session and we were able to take advantage of some of my favorite urban backdrops around downtown Victoria. There were so many great pictures of these two that was hard to choose just a few to put on our blog. Congratulations Andrea & Prashant - we can't wait until this weekend!

Things we love to hear!

"It has been an absolute treat to get to know you a bit. We love your work and your style. Thank you for doing such an amazing job on our wedding!"
    Taryn & Doug.
I had the pleasure of photographing Taryn & Doug's wedding with the fabulous Kira Nelson this May. I was away for a couple of days and when I came back Taryn had dropped of a really nice thank you note and gift certificates for us to the best restaurant in town - Cafe Brio! Letters like this are just one of the many reasons we love our jobs so much. Thanks Kira for teaming up with me and thanks Taryn & Doug for being so fantastic to work with!

Yesterday, I had a photoshoot with two very talented kids: Qristina and Quinn. They are musicians and wanted photographs for a CD cover. I couldn't ask for better light -- the sky was incredible and the kids were troupers. They posed for
hours in the cold without losing patience. We went downtown, my favorite place for pictures, and to the breakwater. Mom (Maria) and
Dad (Adrien) couldn't be more proud of their kids! Good luck to Qristina and Quinn... I know you are going to be stars!!!!

I had the pleasure of photographing Morgan & Rhys' wedding last year and was thrilled to see them again -- this time for a fun family portrait session at the rail yards (which is an awesome spot for photography!). I had so much fun photographing Morgan, Rhys, Gregg and Jan! They are a awesome family and they were up for anything! Thank you guys for being so fun to work with!
