Saskatchewan'ers Katrina & Brendan flew their whole family in from all over Canada for their destination wedding in beautiful Victoria. These two are so charming and fun - and that DRESS!!! - we couldn't stop taking pictures! When you hear how we spent our day you're going to be very jealous -- we started at the Sidney Waterfront Inn and Spa and hung out with everyone while they were getting ready, then we were off to Our Lady of Assumption (one of the oldest churches in Saanich), followed by some fun at the beach and back to the Sidney marina. But, to top all of this... Katrina & Brendon swept everyone away on a sunset cruise!! How cool is that? We felt very lucky to be a part of such a fun day - and working with these two was so incredibly easy. When you get a chance to photograph with such awesome people, it really doesn't feel like work at all. Katrina & Brendan, congratulations once again - your wedding was a blast and it was truly a pleasure to be a part of your day!

Tristan & Jodi

PHOTOGRAPHER: Eunice

Last Sunday I had a blast photographing Tristan and Jodi's engagement. We did some pictures downtown and then we hung out for a bit at the Willow's beach. Tristan is also a photographer, and even if he keep telling me that he is more comfortable behind the camera, he was an awesome model! Jodi is used to posing for him, so she was fantastic! They are getting married next August and we can't wait to see them again on their big day).

When I first met Danni and Shane I just knew they would be a fun couple to work with and I was absolutely right. We got together last Sunday for an engagement session and I had a pleasure of also meeting Nana their super well-behaved dog. She was a trouper and she was the first to jump on the water at Thetis lake! I have to tell you, after two portraits in a row involving water (counting Trish & Ryan's day after session and this engagement session), I now hope all my clients will want to jump in! Thank you Danni, Shane and Nana for being such good sport and making my work even more fun! And a special thank you to that hunky guy named Al (who is also my husband), for helping me with this photoshot!
