The International Society of Professional Wedding Photographers (ISPWP) released the results for the last contest and I'm super proud to announce that I got 6 of my pictures in! That is wonderful and I'm so grateful to have clients that trust me to capture their special day. The ISPWP is a exclusive wedding photography organization that has members all over the world. So I'm happy to have so many pictures chosen in many different categories. I'm the only photographer in Nova Scotia and Halifax area that is part of this prestigious association!

Orla is a brilliant student and she is super happy to have a very special new piece of jewelery: the X Ring! To capture some memories of this important time we had a fun photo session last Sunday. Orla is a super sweet and smart person and it was a pleasure to work with her. She definitely puts charm on Math and is moving to Halifax to continue her studies in statistics at Dalhousie.
Receiving the X-Ring is one of the coolest traditions at StFX! Congratulations to Orla and all the other students who now proud member of elite X-Ring club!

I had so much fun last Saturday photographing this super cool family in Antigonish. Jacob is one of Erico's (my son) best friends and we really enjoy having him around. During the football season this year I had the pleasure to hang out with Jodi and Jordon a lot watching the games and cheering for the Renegades. I have to say Jordon became one of my favorite persons ever! Jody has been super supportive and is always cheering me up. So I do love this family!
Jordan and Jacob are really sweet boys and they didn't even complain when Jodi showed up to the photoshoot with a bag full of wigs! They were such good sports and I just had a blast! It was raining a bit, but the pictures turned out super cool, we barely noticed the bad weather. Thank you Jodi, Jacob and Jordon for being so much fun!

This is the last wedding I'm posting this year and I couldn't be happier to be part of Beatriz and Sam's special day. I was second shooting for my BFF Christina Craft and I had a blast. Not just because it is always fun to shoot with Christina, but because Sam and Beatriz were beyond cool! This super good looking couple got married in Victoria. Beatriz is from Brazil like me so it was really great to be able to speak Portuguese during the shooting. It was a lovely day with an amazing couple perfect way to end my weddings for the year! Congratulations to Beatriz and Sam!

I'm not exactly a sports photographer but I have to confess that I had a lot of fun photographing the game between the Highland Renegades and the Panthers yesterday in Sidney, NS. Since my son Erico joined the Renegades in Antigonish I developed a soft spot for this sport, even if it hurts! The game was really exciting and both teams did an excellent job. We ended up losing, but will have a chance to even the score when we play the Panthers again next Saturday in Port Hawkesbury.
Parents, players and coaches are welcome to download the remaining pictures from a special online gallery. Send me a message info@eunicemontenegro.com if you were there yesterday and want to have the password for the gallery!
Good luck to the Renegades next week and congratulations to both teams for this very well played game!
